Not sure which fits? Most work starts with a two-week discovery (from $2,000, fixed), which ends with a written scope, a risk list and a quote for the build.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Every engagement gets a written, fixed quote before work starts.

What moves the number

What drives the cost

Surface area

How many systems, users and integrations the work touches. A feature inside one service costs less than the same feature across five.

What is at stake

Code that holds funds, personal data or regulated records needs more review, testing and documentation — and that time is in the quote.

What already exists

A well-tested codebase is faster to change than one without tests or documentation. Discovery tells us which we are dealing with.

Compliance and approvals

Security questionnaires, audits, procurement steps and change windows add calendar time even when they add little code.

Deadline

A fixed date with a fixed scope may need a larger team for a shorter time. We say so up front rather than discovering it late.

Every engagement

Always included

  • Your repository and your cloud accounts from the first commit
  • A threat model before the first line of code
  • Every change reviewed by a second engineer
  • A working demo every two weeks against a live environment
  • Documentation written during the work, not after it
  • A handover your team can follow, or a team that stays on
Outside our invoice

Running costs to budget for

Cloud hosting
Billed by your provider to your account. The architecture document includes a monthly estimate before anything is built.
AI model usage
Charged per request by the model provider. We measure cost per run during the build and set a ceiling before launch.
Network fees
Gas for deployments and any transactions you sponsor for users, with spending limits set in the paymaster policy.
Independent audit
For contracts holding meaningful value, an external audit firm is a separate cost we recommend budgeting for.
Third-party services
Identity verification, fiat ramps, email, monitoring and similar services, contracted in your name.
Questions

Pricing and contracts

How do you price work?

It depends on the engagement. Product builds are fixed-scope and paid by milestone. Dedicated pods and fractional CTO work are monthly retainers. Audits and security reviews are a fixed fee by scope. The pricing page sets out each model.

Do you publish prices?

Yes — starting prices for each engagement are on the pricing page. The final figure depends on scope, so every engagement gets a written, fixed quote before work starts, and discovery exists so that quote is based on evidence.

Will you sign an NDA before we share details?

Yes. Send yours or ask for ours, and we will sign before you share anything confidential.

What if the scope changes during the build?

We show you the effect on time and cost before the change is made, in writing. You decide whether to swap something out, extend, or leave it for a later phase.
