Web2 · Service UI/UX design for web and mobile products

Product design by people who sit with the engineers: user flows, clickable prototypes, a design system in code, and accessibility checked as it is built.

In short

UI/UX design decides whether people can use what gets built. We design web and mobile products — research, user flows, interface design and a design system — inside the same team that builds them, so designs are tested with users before code is written and delivered as components rather than pictures.

Practice
Web2
UI/UX design for web and mobile products — how Vayro delivers it: Understand the users, then Prototype the main journeys, then Test and revise, then Deliver with the build. Includes research and flows, clickable prototypes, interface design, design system in code.
When you need it

Signs this is the right service

  • Users complete the main task less often than they should, and nobody is sure where they drop out.
  • A product has grown screen by screen and no two parts look or behave alike.
  • A build is about to start and the only specification is a list of features.
  • Complex data — dashboards, trading screens, approval queues — has to be readable at a glance.
What's included

What you get

Research and flows

Conversations with real users, the current journey mapped with its drop-off points, and the new one drawn before any screen.

Clickable prototypes

Prototypes of the main journeys, tested with users, so the expensive changes happen before the build.

Interface design

Screens for the sizes people actually use, with empty, loading and error states designed rather than left to chance.

Design system in code

Colour, type, spacing and components defined as tokens and built as a component library the engineers use directly.

Accessibility

Contrast, keyboard use, screen-reader labels and reduced motion checked against WCAG 2.1 AA in design and again in the build.

How we deliver it

The process

  1. 01

    Understand the users

Who they are, what they are trying to do, and where the current product gets in the way.

  2. 02

    Prototype the main journeys

Low-fidelity first, then a clickable prototype of the flows that matter most.

  3. 03

    Test and revise

A handful of users try the prototype, and what confuses them is fixed before it is built.

  4. 04

    Deliver with the build

Designers stay through development, reviewing the built screens against the design.

Questions

UI/UX design: common questions

Do you design without building?

Yes, design can be a standalone engagement. It is most useful when designers and engineers are one team, because the design then accounts for what is practical to build.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Yes. We extend your brand guidelines into a product design system instead of replacing them.

How do you test a design?

With a clickable prototype and a small number of real users doing real tasks. A few sessions surface most of the serious problems.

What do we receive at the end?

The design files, the prototype, the design system as tokens and components, and notes on the decisions behind them — all yours.
